Ketchican

These four totems are at Saxman Totem Park south of Ketchikan. There are 30 totems and a clan house at that location. The figure at the top of the second totem is a pretty good likeness of Abraham Lincoln. The next to the last totem has a character squatting with its finger stuck in the mouth of the bottom character on the pole.



The above three pictures were taken in the afternoon when we took a cruise out to Misty Fj0rds National Monument. We thought the pink starfish were quite unusual. The last picture shows the coloring we saw on the face of many of the cliffs and how trees grow on the walls.
